In the lagoon of Venice, a quick vaperetto stop away, is the gem island of Burano, where there are kaleidoscope coloured houses lining the canal. It can be overlooked due to the clear beauty and variety of Venice, but a day trip for a local like me (ha) was wonderful. Here are some arty photos of the various pairings of colourful homes.
